Series consists of various maps, photos, and other records, including: general property line maps, land appraisal maps; photographs of Groveland Lake project area; topographical photos of Groveland Lake area; project photos; budget requests; annual budgets; allotments; amendments; Groveland Lake Authority seal; area maps; and aerial photographic maps.

Scope and Contents This series contain two copies of an act of the General Assembly, "An Act to Create the Groveland Lake Development Authority and minutes of the Board of Director's meetings from its first meeting, May 13, 1969 to its dissolution on June 27, 1974, including minutes of the executive meetings and special meetings. Scope and Contents These are the records of public hearings on the Groveland Lake Development Authority, recorded on two media: paper and magnetic recording tape. The hearings consist of the viewpoints of proponents and opponents whether in a question and answer session, prepared speeches or rebuttals, or correspondence submitted prior to the hearings. Scope and Contents

These are the reference files of the Executive Director of the Groveland Lake Development Authority. Included are reports, publications, records of hearings in draft form, some memoranda, but little correspondence. The files relate primarily to facilitative functions such as personnel and planning for meetings. The petitions and rough records of hearings reveal the feelings and opinions of persons directly and indirectly affected by the reservoir.
