Scope and Contents The first folder (2-01) of genealogical material provides identification for West's huge family network. Folders 2-06/22 are apparently 1880's Fulton County general store business records of John's brother, Pink (Samuel Pinkney West), 16 years his senior, who married and moved away in the 1890's. Scope and Contents Records created during John's careers at Reinhardt College, Oglethorpe University, North Georgia Agricultural College (which became North Georgia College in 1926) and Georgia Military Academy include correspondence, news clippings, and publications. A major portion (4-03/08) documents West's tenure as president at North Georgia Agricultural College (1925-1933) and the economic and political changes that forced him out of his position.
