This series contains unbound estate returns and wills which involve, but are not limited to: (1) estate returns (2) letters of administration (3) estate inventories (4) obligation bonds (5) estate appraisals (6) letters of guardianship (7) guardian bonds (8) returns on sale of property (9) annual returns (10) perishable property listing. There is no consistency to the type of record found within this series. The wills were once filed in Series 2 of this sub-group but have since been interfiled with the corresponding estates. No attempt has been made to compare the completeness of these records with the recorded copies in the courthouse.
