This series consists of the WPA project files of Captain Garland Peyton, Director of the Department of Mines, Mining and Geology. It contains: (1) drafts of the proposal for the state-wide project, (2) personnel files for the supervisors and technicians, (3) periodic reports from counties and districts, (4) copies of the monthly state-wide reports, (5) financial records of the contributions of the sponsors of the state-wide project, and (6) other project related materials.
