This series contains a newsletter apparently published irregularly during the period of time the legislature is in session each year, the months of January, February and March. Each bill introduced by the Department of Human Resources or which bears heavily on the future of the Department, such as the general appropriation bill, is listed by subject and its status in the legislative process at the time of publication is indicated. At the close of the session, a summary issue is published with a "box score" for the Department's legislation. An introductory note is also Included which is authored by the Commissioner. Each regular newsletter is short, averaging only a page, but the summary number is longer, about four pages in length.
