This series contains inspection evaluation reports compiled by the Inspection and Compliance Unit of the Land Protection Branch in fulfilling its primary mission of insuring compliance with the Solid Waste Management Act. Also included is related correspondence. The report forms consist of ratings of each sanitary landfill facility in multiple categories, along with comments.

The related correspondence includes recommendations from Departmental personnel concerning rule changes for specific landfill facilities and complaints from local residents concerning neighboring landfills.
