This series contains: (1) reports concerning individual management problems of various State agencies (2) rough drafts of reports (3) raw statistical data (4) worksheets (5) graphs (6) charts (7) documents outlining procedures for implementation of plans (8) progress reports on the implementation of new systems (9) related papers. These records document the Management Review Division's mission to analyze and solve systems problems for agencies. The elimination of these problems fulfills the Division's responsibility to coordinate and direct efforts to achieve economy and efficiency in State government and to prevent the re - proliferation of State agencies which might occur after the Reorganization Act of 1972. It is important to note that not all State departments are represented in this series. It is also significant to distinguish between the reports recommending improved efficiency made by Division personnel and reports on the progress of implementation of plans for improving efficiency submitted by personnel of the various agencies affected.
