This series consists of bound copies of Georgia Descriptions in Data, a book designed to give the reader an overview of Georgia from a statistical perspective. First published by the Georgia State Data Center in 1982, this series of books began as an answer to the demand for an annual statistical publication covering a variety of subjects. Each edition contains some data that is routinely updated as well as data which is unique to that specific edition. Every effort has been made to publish the latest available data. Since topics covered in a typical edition vary from year to year, please see the finding aid for a generalized summation of contents for each year.
