This series consists of original and photocopied documents relating to the requesting, justifying and evaluation of requests and justifications for supplemental funding for current fiscal year. These requests are generated by agencies related to public schools, higher education and scholarships. Included are memos requesting supplemental funding for current fiscal year; the justifications and assorted division work papers. The Educational Development Division performs budget analysis and policy planning for the following educational agencies: Department of Education, State Scholarship Commission, and Regents of the University System of Georgia. This Division also serves as staff for education study groups.

Since there is a duplication bf a portion of these files in the various state agencies that deal with education and also in the Legislative Budget Office, cross references can be made to the various record groups and series that cover these other records.
