Scope and Contents
These subject files of the Director of the Family Planning Unit include documents relating to that individual's supervision and coordination of the activities of the state operated clinics designed t o provide medical and informational services to citizens who desire to plan their families. These clinics however, do not provide abortion services. Included in this series are: (1) copies of contracts for the provision of services to clinics and patients; (2) correspondence and records of meetings with official and unofficial bodies interested in maternal health and family planning; (3) documents from data centers providing family planning statistics ; (4) evaluations of programs; (5) family planning literature; (6) quarterly activity reports from local clinics; (7) correspondence with local state and federal government agencies concerning family planning; (8) copies of applications for and evidence of federal grants, project descriptions and progress reports; (9) materials related to training programs; (10) copies of proposed and pending legislation ; (11) copies of completed program surveys.
