This series consists of bound photocopied minutes of the various sub boards of the Construction Industry Licensing Board. Topics covered by the various sub boards include (1) reports of pending investigations into companies that have been caught breaking the law, (2) motions regarding fees charged to applicants, (3) rosters of applicants that have successfully passed the examinations, and (4) laws governing the industry. The minutes are generally dated and signed by the chairperson and assistant chairperson. The office of Joint Secretary State Examining Boards is the administrative office for the numerous state occupational and professional examining and licensing boards under his jurisdiction. He is required to keep all records relating to these examining boards and to sign and attest to all their orders and processes. He receives all applications for licenses; schedules a time and place for hearings with the consent of the board concerned; issues certificates upon authority of the relevant board; and collects all state remitted fees required by law for the licensing of occupations and professions. The Construction Industry Licensing Board is a conglomerate of the Warm Air Heating Board, the Electrical Contractors Board, Master & Journeyman Plumbers Board, Conditioned Air Board and Low Voltage Board.
