This series contains three publications of the former Game and Fish Dept. which became part of the Department of Natural Resources in the government reorganization of 1972. The format as well as the title and the publishing department have changed considerably over the years. Nevertheless, the content has remained remarkably consistent, concentrating on articles relating to hunting, fishing and conservation of natural resources. One trend readily observable over the years is the dramatic rise in the size and quality of publications. The photography particularly became increasingly admirable, to the extent that Outdoors in Georgia has gained a statewide reputation for its magnificent photographs.
