Dept. of Game and Fish - Fisheries Section - Publication Record Set Files
Scope and Contents
This series consists of the bound copies of publications (studies) conducted by the Fisheries Section of the Department of Natural Resources' Game and Fish Division. The Fisheries Section produce the studies of this series with monies funded in part by the Federal Aid in Sport Fish Restoration Act under Dingell - Johnson Project (various project #s). The studies are generally photocopies bound by a simple cloth tape and staple method employed by the Department of Administrative Services. Most of the studies begin with a final report which summarizes the: 1) project title, 2) project type, 3) period covered, and 4) study objectives. There is generally an abstract which gives an overview of what was studied and the results. In addition, the studies are, for the most part, filled with graphs and other points of explanation. Bibliographies and appendixes appear at the end. The studies are generally 55 pages in length.
