The records are grouped chronologically by time span of considerable length and arranged alphabetically by surname of the plaintiff. No inventory exists for these files but rather index cards that list only the plaintiff and defendant and date of case. These cards are located in Box 8. The shelf list gives a general listing of the contents of each box.
