This series is composed of bound volumes which document the criminal complaints filed in the court. Information presented in these volumes includes the: (1) date and term of court, (2) names of attorneys involved, (3) names of defendants, (4) type of complaints charged against the defendants, (5) disposition of each case, and (6) case number. Some of the charges filed against these defendants include (1) adultery and fornication, (2) keeping a disorderly house, (3) assault with intent to murder, (4) simple larceny, (5) possessing liquor, and (6) carrying a concealed weapon. Entries are arranged and listed in chronological order by date and term of court and then by case number. Most of the volumes contain an index in which the defendants are listed in alphabetical order by the initial letter of their surname.
