This series contains the monthly newsletter of the Emergency Health Unit of the Division of Physical Health of the Department of Human Resources. Although it is designed as a monthly publication, a number is not issued every month and thus it is important to check the volume and issue numbers as well as the dates. A typical issue would number six pages in length and might contain articles on emergency and disaster drills, advocating a state-wide common system of ambulance call signs, coming events of interest to Unit personnel, certification for emergency health professionals, human interest notes, medical hints, problems and possible solutions, emergency situation experiences from around the State and the value of the Emergency Medical Service program.
