This series is composed of bound volumes which document the names of the mortgagors (grantors) and mortgagees (grantees) recorded in this court for the inclusive dates listed below and is very similar to RGSGSERIES 159 - 1 - 44, Indexes to the Mortgage Records. Information presented in these volumes includes: (1) name of grantor and grantee, (2) type of instrument used, and (3) month, day, year, and hour such grant was filed in office. Types of instruments used are usually deeds and mortgages, but also include liens, fi fas, bills of sale and bonds.
