Scope and Contents

This series consists of accounts for the Georgia State Board of Health, later to become the Georgia Department of Public Health (now a division of the Georgia Department of Human Resources). Included are accounts related to various financial activities of the Department. Receipts are directly related official activities of the Department while disbursements cover transactions related to the purchase of office supplies and petty cash expenditures. Some accounts do not include specific disbursements but refer to journal accounts.
