The series contains the official monthly newsletter of the Department. The focus of the publication, at least for most of its existence, has been on the accomplishments of the Department. A typical issue might contain articles on the energy crisis, biographies on new Transportation Board members or other important officials of the Department, 2 message from the Commissioner, awards for suggestions from employees and other honors won by the Department or employees, new highway contracts Bwarded or projects completed and reports on federal Department of Transportation cooperation with the Georgia Department. There are illustrations and the average length of the publication has increased over the years.
