Scope and Contents
This series consists of the TOPICS planning reports from several large cities in Georgia. TOPICS--Traffic Operations Program for Improving Capacity and Safety--was a program originated in 1970 and designed to provide funds for implementing solutions to congested and hazardous locations and corridors within urban areas. The Federal Highway Administration, Georgia Department of Transportation, and participating cities and counties funded the program on a matching basis. The data in this series was prepared by-and for professional city planners and traffic engineers and includes the following information: problem identification recommended improvements; an implementation program; appendices; tables and figures to support interpretive information.
