This portion of what was surely a much more extensive series of publications, contains the newsletter of the former Department of Commerce, now the Department of Industry and Trade. Published monthly, a typical issue might contain (1) lists of new Georgia industries, (2) calendars of events of interest to both businessmen and tourists, (3) announcements of department personnel changes, (4) news of department surveys and programs, (5) state agricultural and industrial reports and (6) lists of new government contracts awarded Georgia industrial firms. Averaging about eight pages in length, these newsletters are illustrated with black and white photographs.
