This series contains the final budgets prepared by the individual institutions and the Board of Regents for submission to the Governor and the General Assembly. These itemized budgets are all-inclusive and contain such information as the proposed educational and general budgets, summaries of income and expenditures, lists of departmental budgets and salaries, lists of salary increases and deletions, summaries of plant operations, and supplemental salary budgets. Also included are accepted budget amendments and adjustments. The latter are not to be confused with preliminary budgets, status reports, special budgets and preliminary budget amendments which are filed separately in other series. The boxing of these records was rather haphazard and it is important to check each box's contents carefully.
