Scope and Contents
This series consists of (1) departmental personnel policies and procedures, proposals and revisions; (2) directives to all DHR organizational units; (3) State Merit System Rules and Regulations; (4) U.S Department of Health and Human Services directives; (5) Monthly Status Reports documenting monthly activities of the Personnel Office; (6) Quarterly Status Reports documenting quarterly activities of the Personnel Office; (7) Semiannual Performance Measures Reports documenting the Personnel Office's functional performance and comparing it to goals and objectives established by the Office Four-Year Plan (Catalog of Measures); (8) Special Personnel Projects information and surveys and (9) related correspondence. These files all relate to administering and coordinating the areas of responsibility for the Office of Personnel Administration. The Office is responsible for implementing, managing and monitoring a fair program of personnel administration which includes employee management relations, transactions, classification and compensation, manpower management and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program Management.
