Arrangement Note

Entries are arranged and listed in chronological order by the collection date the Sheriff made as a result of the issuance of the FiFa (Fieri Facias) to satisfy a debt. A fieri facias is a writ of execution usually levied upon goods to satisfy a debt owed the plaintiff. Most of the FiFas in these civil complaints involved collection of taxes and foreclosure of chattel mortgages. The criminal complaints include those of assault and battery, simple larceny and execution of warrants.
