Scope and Contents
This series consists of record copies of a total of 90 research papers commissioned by the Forest Research Council during the period from 1961 to 1978. This series thus documents one of the chlef mlssions of the council, the promotion and support of studies undertaken by experts in the field with the aim at improvement and expansion of the very vital Georgia forest related industries. All aspects of the forestry industry were studied at some period including such varied subjects as preventing various diseases and insect infestations, the property tax structure as it affected rural land holdings, the relationship between forest land and wildlife habitats and the prevention of forest fires in Georgia.
