This series contains annual reports of the Department of Offender Rehabilitation from its creation in 1974. A typical issue picked at random is divided into four divisions and an introductory section. The introduction contains a departmental organization chart and photographs of the chairman and members of the Board of Offender Rehabilitation. Part One, the administration section, contains a photograph of the Commissioner and narrative reports on the various divisions of the department, statistical data on farm production at the several prison farms, reports on educational, chaplaincy and other services offered to inmates and statistics on correctional industries employment and sales as those on adjustment and restitution centers, work pre-release centers, community treatment centers and probation-parole services. Part Two is entitled "Community Based Services" and includes such reports as those on adjustment and restitution centers, work pre-release centers, community treatment centers and probation-parole services. Part Three contains more specific narrative reports on the various correctional institutions in the State including lists of supervisory personnel and awards and honors won by same. Part Four is entitled "Statistics" and contains extensive figures and graphs on inmate population and fiscal matters. The reports vary in length but average about 40 pages in length.
