This series consists of bound scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings dealing exclusively with news and information concerning veterans. The clippings are generally duplicated since they were obtained from the major newspapers of the various counties across the State. The clippings document the work of the Department of Veterans Service and elected officials in protecting and upgrading the benefits of our veterans. Unfortunately, as is the nature of newsprint and cellophane tape, many of the clippings have deteriorated and become unattached within the books' pages.
