This series contains the tax fees for the following types of motor vehicles: (1) passenger cars, (2) trucks, (3) tractors, and (4) trailers and semi-trailers. The tax fees are based on a Georgia Act of August 23, 1927, which adopted as a basis for fees the manufacturers shipping weight for passenger automobiles and the tonnage capacity for trucks. This rate book was issued by the Office of Secretary of State as required by the above cited law. Also included is a reprint (in pamphlet form) of the Georgia Motor Vehicle Law of 1927 with amendments to 1931 issued by the Office of Secretary of State, Hon. John B. Wilson.
