This series consists of the Georgia State Soil and Water Conservation Committee District Supervisor Election Results Files. Material in this series is contained in manila folders and includes the following data consistently given: district election notices, statements from county ordinaries accepting responsibility for conducting the election, candidates' certified nominating petitions, samples of official ballots, reports from county ordinaries concerning official balloting, receipts for registered mail, and miscellaneous correspondence between State Committee officials and county representatives. Election Results Files for 1947 and 1949 also include the notarized oath of office administered to elected Supervisors.
