This series contains a wide variety of publications ranging from posters to booklets of considerable length. These publications were distributed by the Georgia Arts Commission and its successor organizations which were placed under the Office of Planning and Budget in the government reorganization of 1972. Despite the several changes in the name of the council, the content of these publications has remained remarkably similar over the years. Virtually all of them describe the activities of the council, promote special events in the art world in Georgia and list art resources in the state.
