This publication has a misleading title. More than a directory to the various courts in Georgia, it also lists (1) Judicial Council members, (2) Administrative Office of the Courts staff members, (3) district attorneys, (4) solicitors, (5) court reporters, (6) defense services for indigents, (7) attorney generals , (8) Prosecuting Attorneys' Council members, (9) State Bar of Georgia officers, (10) local bar association presidents and (11) members of the Judicial Qualifications Commission. Due to the natural expected changes in several of these positions especially in the time period between the closing date for submission of names and the publishing date, post cards are bound into each volume for announcing such changes. In the course of a specific year because of the many changes, as many as four update or "Change Sheets" are mailed to all recipients of the directory. These sheets are filed with the directories.
