This series consists of one copy of each Annual Report publication, either bound or unbound, which describes special Council activities and documents the findings and conclusions on the effectiveness of vocational programs, services and activities in the State during the fiscal year. These reports are submitted to the US. Commission on Education and the National Advisory Council on Vocational Education as required by Public Law 94-482. Each report also evaluates the progress of the State Board of Education towards accomplishing the program goals set forth in the Five-Year Plan, the Annual Program Plan and the Accountability Report. The Council, once a part of the Department of Education, is required by the Congress of the United States and now advises the State Board of Education in the development, administration and evaluation of a state plan for improving vocational education in the State.
