This series contains original correspondence of the Court of Ordinary of Walton County. Of questionable historical value, the majority of this fragmented correspondence, comprised of notes and letters, was written by constituents with various requests such as (1) dismissal as administrator of an estate, (2) dismissal as administrator of an estate, (3) various requests by attorneys in regard to their client's cases and (4) correspondence relating to pensions.

Arrangement Note

The arrangement of the papers is unusual. There is correspondence written to other offices of the county within this series, but all the papers have been arranged alphabetically by surname of the letter's author regardless of office to which the correspondence was addressed.
