This series consists of logs indicating the names and other pertinent data concerning individuals appointed by the Governor to positions on boards, commissions and other bodies created both by Executive Order and constitutional or statutory fiat. The contents and format vary considerably from volume to volume. Unit 2 is a box which contains a log only for boards established by Executive Order and is much more informal in format. A copy of each Executive Order is included with key words underlined as to qualifications for membership of the board being established. A list of the appointees with terms follows. In the event of resignations, deaths, etc., longhand notations are made on these lists often with successors indicated as well.
