This series consists files from the Legal Division of the Governor's Office used as resource material for legal matters involving the Executive Department as well as in preparing the Executive Minutes. The files cover a wide range of subjects including, but not limited to, legislation, government officials, state agencies, authorities and commissions. In many cases, copies of Executive Orders are included among the materials.

The series also contains extensive information on rules and practices for interstate extradition, conferences and seminars on the development of extradition procedures and also information and correspondence on international extradition procedures.
