Biographical / Historical

Carbine Hardware Store in Madison, Georgia was opened sometime in the mid 1850's. P.V. Carbine owned and operated it. In 1907, John L. Moore called a meeting of all stockholders and bought the Carbine Hardware Company and renamed it Farmer's Hardware Company. It was later owned by Ace Hardware.
