The subject files of the Dept. of Transportation Commissioner contain: (1) correspondence (2) memorandums (3) invitations (4) brochures (5) news releases (6) reference copies of board minutes (7) other records documenting the various undertakings of the Highway Department (now the Department of Transportation). There are several sequences of files, one a "general" file and one a county file. Though the file folder labels vary somewhat from year to year, many are repeated every year.
