Environmental Protection Division - Water Quality Control - Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility
Scope and Contents
This series documents the development, operation and maintenance of industrial waste water treatment facilities in Georgia. Included are: (1) original and revised construction permits (Form W.Q. 1.3); (2) monthly operating reports, and (3) related technical and general correspondence. All of these files are sometimes used by Department attorneys in legal cases involving enforcement of the provisions of the Georgia Water Quality Control Act. This series is closely related to others in this sub-group. For similar records created before the State government reorganization of 1972, (Boxes 1-21), see RGSGSERIES 26-7-68, Department of Public Health, Water Quality Control Board Records. Though most of the files in this series date after the reorganization, some few were begun in the Department of Public Health.
