Scope and Contents
This series contains: (1) transcripts and other papers relating to public hearings (2) copies of federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and guidelines for measuring pollution; (3) policy statements; (4) copies of federal quarterly reports; (5) correspondence with EPA regarding liaison in air pollution control efforts; (6) reports of various types on the Section's findings in specific types of air pollution; (7) correspondence generated in developing the Department's rules and regulations and its state implementation plan, and (8) other documents relating to general supervision of the Air Quality Control Section. These records thus document the close cooperation between the federal and state governments in administering the air quality control program in Georgia.
