This series consists of files regarding the duties of office the Lieutenant Governor holds as President of the Georgia Senate. Included are correspondence files to and from various Georgia Senators and members of the Georgia House of representatives and subject files concerning the State Senate and Senate Committees. The Legislative Services unit of the Georgia Lieutenant Governor's Office is responsible for assisting the Lieutenant Governor in his role as President of the Senate. Staff personnel monitor legislative programs in the public interest and provide general legislative review services.
