Public Health - Water Quality Control Board - Annual Reports
Scope and Contents
These published annual reports are similar to those of other State departments and boards. A prose format is utilized, but in the later years many statistical graphs and pictures are included. A typical report is divided into the following sections: (1) Water Quality Surveillance Studies and Related Activities; (2) Municipal and Domestic Water Pollution Control; (3) Industrial Waste; (4) Financial Aid for Cities and Counties; (5) List of Operating Permits Issued for Year; (6) List of Construction Permits Issued for Year; (7) Members of Board. In July, 1972 the Board ceased to exist and its functions were assumed by the Environmental Protection Division of the Department of Natural Resources (RG 88). See Series 1 in this Record Group for annual reports with a similar content.
