The glossy prints, negatives, and contact sheets were primarily used for departmental publications and for news releases. The photographs, most of which are not individually identified or dated, concern activities of the department and pictures of employees and persons who have participated in health campaigns. Among the subjects covered in this file are health weeks (Dental Health Week, etc.), rehabilitation centers, local, county, and state health departments, and administrators in the Health Department. Some of the publications in which the pictures have been used are among the material.
