Division of Public Health - Maternal Health Unit - Reports
Scope and Contents
This series consists of Maternal Health Service Reports (Form HC 2.9, revised, April, 1971). These monthly forms contain the following statistical information for each Georgia county: (1) prenatal admissions by number and race (2) period of gestation, under 16, 16-27, 28-36 and over 36 weeks (3) postpartum admissions by number and race (4) total visits, admissions and return visits by race (5) type of service, prenatal clinic, postpartum clinic, antepartum nurse home visit, delivery attended nurse home visit and referral to private physician (6) women with low hemoglobin admitted (7) women started on imferon. In addition to the above information, a section of the form contains an annual statistical summary of all reports submitted by all counties for the year.
