This series contains documents relating to all areas of interest of the Director who is responsible for coordinating the programs of the Maternal Health, Child Health, Dental Health and Adult Health sections. Included are correspondence, memorandums, forms, pamphlets, legal documents, fiscal records, personnel data, etc., necessary to establish policies and procedures for the office. It is interesting to note the growth in volume of these subject files with the years, as the responsibilities of the Director obviously increased. Also significant are the files indicating federal government participation in public health programs.
