This series consists of a bound volume which documents the criminal complaints filed in the County Court for the date span listed. This volume provides information which includes: (1) date and term of court (not usually given); (2) names of attorneys; (3) case number (often not given); (4) names of defendants; (5) type of crime charged; (6) disposition of case (that is, whether found guilty or not guilty), and (7) entries (i.e., length of jail sentence or amount of fine). Most of these cases involve relatively minor crimes such as disturbing divine worship, carrying concealed weapons, and simple larceny.
