This series is composed of a bound volume which documents the names of defendants for whom warrants for arrest were issued for the date span listed. Information presented in this volume includes: (1) name of person issuing warrant; (2) number of the Georgia Militia District such person was a resident of; (3) name of defendant; (4) name of crime the defendant was charged with committing; (5) name of arresting officer; (6) date of arrest; (7) disposition of case, that is, if defendant was jailed or given bond, and (8) name of witness for state (usually not given).
