Scope and Contents
This series contains a complete set of the summary minutes of the called meetings of the Radiation Control Council and related correspondence. Among the subjects discussed in the minutes which reflect the chief mission of the Council are (1) setting radiation decontamination standards, (2) registration of x-ray machines in use in Georgia, (3) registration of and setting standards for users of radium, (4) providing liaison between the Atomic Energy Commission and the Georgia Department of Public Health and (5) setting State performance standards for x-ray and radium management. A list of members attending each meeting is always included as well as, of course, all membership changes.
