This series consists of a bound volume documenting the civil and criminal complaints filed in this court for the inclusive date span listed which are similar to those found in Series 3 and 4 of this Record Group. Information presented includes: (1) date and term of court; (2) names of defendants and plaintiffs in civil cases; (3) type of complaint charged against defendant; (4) judgment rendered or disposition of case; (5) enumeration of court costs; (6) names of witnesses for the State (in criminal cases), and (7) amount of money involved (in civil cases). Some of the charges brought against the defendants (in criminal cases) include assault and battery, simple larceny, and (in civil cases) mortgage foreclosures, notice of garnishment and actions to collect on accounts past due or promissory notes.
