These publications address themselves to virtually the entire gamut of interests of the Department of Industry and Trade. One of the prime motivations of the department is to promote industrial expansion in the state by advertising what Georgia has to offer prospective industrial customers. Some of the extensive studies in the fields of economics and recreation were actually conducted for the department by various University System institutions.
