This series contains one or two page news releases similar to those distributed by several different departments of state government to the communications media. Among subjects dealt with in this series are announcements of special expositions sponsored or co-sponsored by the department, dedications of new airports, local business news, the announcement of special days such as Georgia Aviation Day, locations of new industries in Georgia and industrial development conventions. Obviously, the emphasis of these news releases is on the industrial promotion aspect of the work of the department only. Although the items were published quite frequently even as often as three or more times per month, there is no reason to believe or way to ascertain whether this set of publications is complete.
